* Lecture 5: Convolution

Convolution

Course Outline:

  • Convolution

  • Properties of Convolution

  • Convolution: Commutativity

  • Convolution: Associativity

  • Convolution: Distributivity

Note: In this topic, you need to understand how the convolution happened. Then, you should be able to perform the mathematical analysis to solve the convolution. In addition, you need to understand the properties of convolution. However, solving question related to convolution in time domain is not really importance because in the following chapters, you can see that signal that experience convolution can be easily solved using frequency domain (Fourier transform, Laplace transform).
