Abstract—A Printed monopole antenna with triple narrow bands plus one wideband for four bands operation, which covers the UMTS2100, WLAN2400/5200/5800, WiMAX 2500/3500/5500 and 5G6000 bands are presented in this paper. The antenna consists of a rectangular monopole radiator with four hexagonal SRR to generate multiple resonant modes. To improve the performance of the monopole antenna, four fractals elements are notched at the corners of the rectangular patch for gain and proper matching enhancement. The proposed antennas are designed and simulated using CST microwave studio on an FR4 substrate due to its low cost, ease of fabrication, low profile and light weight.
