4-3D Printed Waveguide Based Beamforming Circuit for Wireless Communication System

3D PRINTED WAVEGUIDE BASED BEAMFORMING CIRCUIT FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The increasing number of users and demands in speeding data enforce the wireless communication system towards higher frequencies. Waveguide structure is in favour at high frequencies due to its low loss properties. However, the higher the frequency, the smaller the structure would be. The fabrication and realisation or circuits are crucial. Additive manufacturing or 3D printing opens a new flexibility in realising any complex structure. Therefore this work proposes a study on reliability of waveguide based beamforming system manufactured using available 3D printing technology. The properties of physical structure will be profiled and the performances will be investigated.
