Summary: A DbMSAA consisting of two different radiating elements working at two different frequencies of operation has been designed and integrated as one array formation. The possibilities of having a uniform and controlled radiation patterns and improved antenna’s performance has been achieved and realized by implementing a novel and innovative technique by incorporating EBG lattices, positioned in between the respective nonsymmetry corporate feed lines and ground plane. The antenna’s performance improved where the radiation patterns become more symmetrical, especially at 5.8GHz. Its’ HPBW and Gain for the H plane cut, increases, as shown in Table I. Further works on reducing the side lobes, by incorporating multi band gaps EBG structures between the adjacent patches and around the antenna, is to be published in the near future. This antenna is suitable for point-to-point and point to multi-point Dual-Band Wireless LAN applications that works at both the ISM band of frequencies, simultaneously.
