ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD THEORY

This course covers electrostatic, magnetostatic and electromagnetic fields. The electromagnetic field theory is can be summarised via the Maxwell’s equations. Here, the course is conducted with the assumption that the enrolled students are already equipped with the necessary mathematical foundations including multivariable calculus. Furthermore, they should also possess some familiarity with basic concepts covered in the typical introductory circuit theory course such as resistance, capacitance and inductance to list a few.

The detail list of topics for this course are as followed:

MATHEMATIC PRIMARY:

TOPIC 1: ELECTROSTATIC

TOPIC 2: MAGNETOSTATIC

TOPIC 3: Electromagnetic Field
