PEMINDAHAN ILMU STEM MELALUI INTERNET OF THING (IOT CARNIVAL 2018) KEPADA PELAJAR SEKOLAH MENENGAH DAERAH JOHOR BAHARU

This program will further strengthen the relationship between staff and students as it can attracting students especially those who are in their final year of study for continue their studies, especially under the supervision of ATT members and the Department of COMM. Beside that, it can give exposure of UTM about the variety of IoT that can be practiced in everyday life. Additionally, the program is intended as well to attract researchers from other universities to collaborate with ATT researchers and the Department of COMM. In addition, the program also hopes that it will received a good response from all parties, especially students and universities to connect students under the supervision of ATT members and the COMM department.

The program also involved the industrial collaboration and technology sharing. Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Maxis Berhad, MIMOS Berhad, and Intel Corporation are 4 companies that involved in given the talk to the students and lecturers on the related topics. Iconix Consulting Sdn Bhd is another company that focusing on Hands-on IoT Workshop for High School Students. The students were experienced a hand-on project related to IOT with the guidances of the Iconix instructor. Before the students started doing the project, the will be given a set of IOT-related questions and they need to answer it. After the students finished their activities, the same question will be asked with a set of feedback's question. Then the result were analyzed for our reference.
