CHAPTER 2: TRANSFORMER SYSTEM

In Chapter 2, students will be introduced with the concept of transformer system. This chapter is divided into three parts. In the first part, student will learn the basic principle of transformer and basic single phase transformer. The construction of transformer and the analysis in ideal condition and practical condition are discussed. In the second part, student will learn about regulation and efficiency. In the third part, student will learn about three phase system in differentt configuration.
